We have decided to cater our own wedding, because my fiance, the best man, my moh, and myself all have quite a bit of cooking and food service experience.

Our wedding is in January, and we are inviting 150 guests. It is going to take place in the evening, fairly traditional and elegant, but fun and ecletic to show our personalities. Right after the ceremony there is going to be a brief cocktail hour while we finish the bride and groom photos. We will be serving hot cocktails (or hot-choctails, lol) such as hot chocolate with pepermint Schnapps or Rumplemans, spiked cider, etc. There will be non-alcoholic drinks for the younger guests as well.

The four of us have been brain-storming ideas, but we have yet to come up with a great idea. We all have several diffrent ideas, and tons of ideas for seperate items, like hors d’eurves. What we don’t have a clue about is a good theme, none of our ideas tie together.

Anyone have a good idea for a theme for the food at our wedding?
