ok. I have agreed to cater a wedding and the budget is $500-i know not a lot of money. What are some dishes that would not be expensive at all and could feed about 150 people? I need to stay under $150 on food to make a profit. It is a 6pm wedding and she wants finger foods. But then she said chicken fingers, and mini sandwiches. Is pasta the best way to go because we can make soo much a cheap rate or what are some ideas? we are only doing the food-no drinks, no alcohol nothing. I am also a member of COSTCO so I can get big quantities for cheap.
I have explained the 6p.m. thing but she is sticking with her finger foods. yes, I told her that the $500 is super super low, and she agreed but she said that this was all that she could afford. But the thing is she is having it at a really nice place. and the wedding is BYOB! I fell out of my chair!
She said pasta was a good idea. and I have to keep EVERYTHING under $150 to make a profit.
